Oils Accepted by CILA

CILA specialises in clear industrial waste oils. Discover the accepted types and acceptance criteria.

Scope

Clear oils: our area of expertise

CILA processes exclusively clear oils — industrial lubricants that remain transparent or lightly tinted even after use. This positioning allows us to guarantee a high-quality regeneration process with an exceptional material recovery rate.

⚠ Oils not accepted

Black motor oils, oils with high metal contamination, or incompatible mixtures fall outside our process.

Hydraulic oils

Oils from industrial hydraulic circuits — HV, HLP, HLVP

Dielectric oils

Insulating oils for transformers and electrical equipment

Whole cutting oils

Machining oils without emulsion

Quenching oils

Heat treatment oils for metallurgy and forging

Mineral oils

Various industrial mineral base oils

Vegetable oils

Industrial vegetable oils (formwork release, lubrication)

Different formats of industrial oil containers: drums, buckets, IBCs

Criteria

Acceptance conditions

Each oil is subject to prior analysis to validate its optimal treatment.

Prior analysis

Send a 500 ml sample along with the WID/SDS. Our laboratory analyses density, viscosity, water content and particulate contamination.

Unmixed oils

Regulations prohibit mixing oils of different types. Each type must be stored separately before collection.

Required documents

A Waste Identification Document (WID) and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) are required for any acceptance. CILA can assist if you do not have them.

Processing time

Analysis results within 5 to 10 business days. Acceptance certificate issued upon validation. Collection scheduled according to availability.
