Frequently Asked Questions
All the answers about collection, regeneration, regulatory documents and coverage areas.
Collection
CILA collects and regenerates clear waste oils: hydraulic, dielectric, whole cutting, quenching, mineral and industrial vegetable oils. Black motor oils are not part of our process.
Clear oils remain transparent or lightly tinted even after use. Black oils such as motor oils contain soot and metals — they belong to a different treatment stream.
CILA operates in mainland France, Belgium and Luxembourg. All our collections are carried out by ADR-certified hazardous materials carriers.
CILA operates from approximately 200 litres. Drums, IBCs, canisters or bulk tanks.
Regeneration
Regeneration is the highest form: the oil regains its original characteristics and becomes a quality lubricant again.
Contract regeneration involves treating your own installation's oil to restore its original quality, without changing ownership.
Our process includes: receipt and characterisation, decanting, dehydration, fine filtration (7 µm), additivation and laboratory control.
